In those days, Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
And just as He was coming up out of the water, He saw the heavens torn apart and the Spirit descending like a dove on Him.
And a voice came from heaven, "You are My Son, the Beloved. With You I am well pleased." (Mark 1:9-11)
Cathechism of the Catholic Church (#1267) states: "Baptism makes us members of the Body of Christ: "therefore...we are members
one of another"(Eph 4:25). Baptism incorporates us into the Church. From the baptismal font is born the one People of God
of the New Convenant, which transcends all the natural or human limits of nations, cultures, races, and sexes:"For by one Spirit
we were baptized into one body." (1 Cor 12:13)
Hence, we would like to invite parents who desire for their children's Baptism at our parish to contact the Rectory office to make
arrangements for pre-Baptism program and for the Baptism celebration no later than a month before the Baptism.
